in other slightly more interesting news, seven samurai is the longest movie in the history of ever but also very awesome. the ten-minute intermission doesn't really help, but I think it does add some kind of character. of a silly variety. still the movie is pretty cool and hardcore, especially that one guy that's kind of a punk and not really a samurai but then cool shit happens and he kind of proves himself in the end. samurai are great.

I know none of you will know anything about these two things, but just in case you do (or know anyone who might for that matter), in the vicinity of berkeley/oakland/wherever is there a) anywhere that would be good to just go and take ballet classes without having to join a school or company and b) a respectable and fairly traditional but not so much that it's rigid in its traditionality aikido dojo? I'm breaking my balls over this, and I don't even have any.
